Home Facts Global Warming

Al Gore's numbers don't add up.

I have been working on a study for an independent science lab on the effects of CO2 on the atmosphere. About 0.03%, or 300 ppm, of the earths atmosphere is CO2. It is estimated that is slightly higher than 100 years ago. If we doubled that in the next 10 years, we would increase the average global temperature by about 1 degree Fahrenheit. Al Gore is claiming that we have increased the amount of CO2 by 0.1% over the last 20 years. This means humans have increased the global temperature by 0.0001 degree. At the current rate, we would raise it 1 degree in about 10,000 years. This is going by Al Gore's numbers.
